| These photographs were taken in the late 1930s by Joseph Steinmetz a well know photographer from Philadelphia. He and his family had a cottage at the shore in the area. These contact prints were found among the photographs of Slade Dale and I do not know under what circumstances they were taken. They are displayed here by permission of Joseph Steinmetz's daughter, Lois Duncan, who is a very accomplished author well know for her juvenile novels among other works. Thank you Lois! | ||||||
